Mercury- if you are reading this -

How about stepping up your game a little and making the 700 sci a DTS engine with full digitalization, complete with fly-by-wire shift, throttle, etc. Mercury - you haven't upgraded the 700 since Martin Van Buren was in the white house nor have you even brought it to a footing equal to even the lowest segment of sterndrives like the 350 Mag, which is DTS-ready.

Outerlimits- if you are following (and I know you are ) please prod Mercury to do something about this. It's about time the 700 were upgraded and/or made DTS.

I have one now and I would buy at least one or maybe three more if a change were made, but not before.

Sorry, nothing available yet. That's always a challenge with early stories. But at least you have information on what's coming.

I'm sure it will be a nice piece but seems like a stretch on top speed since most 40' cats w/ twin Merc 700's run about that speed.

LOL! Maybe the tide is turning!

Someday Outerlimits will help us look back and say "Remember when cats were faster than vee's with the same power"

At the end of the day there's nothing wrong w/ setting a goal then tweaking & tuning w/ the hopes of accomplishing & or exceeding the goal.

A pair of ILMOR 725's & INDY drives might help them get there a little easier w/ the lighter more efficient package.
