OT-I must take my hat off for...
Well, because the family truckster was no longer reliable, we needed to come up with some alternative transportation. Because this would be primarily for transportation to work, we selected a car. Never being a big Ford fan, I reluctantly looked at the Focus. Needless to say, we were very impressed! The car handles very well, has OK power, very compfortable seats, is quite spacious, and rides nicly. In all honesty, it's THE best small cars that I've ever experienced. If anybody is considering a small car in the future, I'd highly recommend the focus.

I will have to agree with you. I have one which is used as the family car. We got the SE 4door sport with the stronger engine(not that it matters, both options are 4cyl). It does ride nice, we have been to New York and Florida and we drive it daily, 16000 miles, no problems at all.

Gary, sounds just like my friend that has the exact same car. When the dealer tried to sell us the Focus we were reluctant because of what we have seen, but he assured us that the "problems" were fixed and after some deliberation we opted to get it. So far so good, thankfully.

Based on our Grand Am/Quad 4 experience, I'll never own a first year car/engine combination. There seems to just too much that can go wrong with a totally new chassis. Now I just have to get the truck running right...
