Buy It....put a single 300xs on it and go have some fun with it.....

Gino, I had one, it was my first boa,t came with merc 275, very large engine, Put a 2.5 on it wasn't the same, I recommend a verado 350, something with a lot of torq, awesome boat!

350 Verado is too heavy, stick with 2 stroke.

i had a splash of this hull in the '80's w/200 yamaha loved 8-10" chop - do 80 right on the edge of control.
i know where one is forsale w/o motor painted just like that apache -not as nice int, but decent -if your interested pm me i'll get the guys no.=i think he was asking 9k but sure it could be had for less. this is a pic of the one i had - its in new jersey last i knew

I vote Buy it. It's a sweet little boat, and hell if the motor runs fine, I wouldn't even bother swapping it out. Run her as is and if ya get bored by next year, send her to another good home.

300x is a great motor, but a fuel hog, for a few HP less I'd go the opti route on a boat that small.
