The website says you are allowed access to the beach section but not the trails.

Thats part of the whole bigger battle, actually it is as they have annexed/ or trying to annex it to the Edwin B Forsythe wildlife refuge.

they claim they are most concerned about underage drinking and littering.

if youre over 21 its illegal to drink in the water?

f-cove was closed due to human impact on the wildlife. think about the impact on the same wildlife hurricane sandy caused. guess that's y they reopened it...
