Very disappointed I did not jump on this thread sooner. Appeared to be another typical OSO towing thread, now I have been missing some good old ball bashing, fueled with karate kid, skanks, and AT kool aid....please carry on ...

I took the boat off the old steel trailer with 16.5" rims and huge axles and weighed it separately...3265 LBS !!! I couldn't believe it!! This was before I put the boat on the new All American twin torsion axle with 4 wheel disc brakes. I weighed the trailer at 1150 LBS and the whole rig together at about 7200 with a full tank of fuel so the boat is just shy of 3 tons with twin 260/MR-1 drives. Getting rid of a ton of extra trailer weight made a hell of a difference in how it towed behind my then 2007 F-150 KR SuperCrew w/ 9200# towing package (RIP).

I am now towing with my 2005 Escalade ESV with it's trailer package. Overall it does a much better job as a tow platform than the F-150 did...primarily it has much more power (6.0 LQ9 Vortec HO vs 5.4 3 valve Triton) and seems more stable at speed. I plan to weigh again with the new power and Bravo Drives. I know I gained 200 lbs with the drives but lost 400 moving from log style manifolds to new center riser style light weight CI Mercruiser OEM...will be interesting...a bit less weight and 300 extra horsepower & 250 extra FT Lbs of Torque.
WTF is he talking about?? Sprink...lets not Hijack a thread please. lol

Hahah, mrs 4bus is not in any of these pics, she got so drunk she was passed out in the cabin by 4pm, which meant we were legally separated for the night

So here, the one in the middle. I don't have many on my phone, when I get home I'll make a mrs bus ass hall of game collage for you lol
