Eastwood carries a acid that you apply.

Not much you can do, When
the chrome headers get hot
its the nickel that turns
blue.
On top of the nickel is a
clear coat that gives the
chrome look, You have too
have the chrome stripped
off and then buff/strike the nickel or renickel and then recoat with the clear
Not much good to polish
the outside.
If their double wall then
you really got problems.

if they are stainless I think that you can buff it out. I have a friend who does a lot of welding on stainless steel and I can remember him telling me that you can buff out the heat discoloration on the metal, ime not sure how but I will ask him again.

Greg, I've heard that muiradic acid (?) works well---but that is only what I have heard---and it sounds like it might be easier than buffing . Buffing out stainless steel will restore it to what you're looking for, for sure.
