The new Magic 44 cat is set up to run triples. The first one built actually had 3 blown 540s making 850 ponies. It has a 12 ft beam to help with space.

I was at big thunder marine about 5-6 years ago .they had a 48' express cat they were redoing with 3 1000's !! It was a monster ! They had just finished the glass work .didn't have the cutouts in transom yet or any motors . I always wondered if the guy was mistaken when he said it would be tripples !

Hotboat also wrote an article about a cat with triples, that I think was a 36 eliminator. it was in an issue last year, have to check to see which month.
