What pitch is the mirage? The 21 pitch Rev4 seems a little low in pitch for your set up.

I am assuming you have the 375HP version of the 496?

4 Blades traditionally give you a higher cruising speed and lower top speed. The boat will most likely plane faster with the 4 blade as well.

Who suggested the Rev4? Personally I would have chose a Bravo1 4 blade 22 for that boat, and had it worked to achieve max performance. I believe the Rev4 is a stern lifting prop that was designed to help old boat with deep x-dimensions....but not 100 percent sure.

Yes 375 hp. Dealer dyno it at 2750 psi closer to 400. I was going with the bravo 1 but no lower than a 22 p but the rev 4 I could get in a 21 p I want to keep my rrrr up as much as possible. I read some good things and the . Dealer also liked it .I'm doing mercury test program I can return it with in 7 days if it's no good

I'm running a BBlades labbed Rev4 23 on a 275 Boss Baja with 496HO. I can tell you the Bravo 4 blade does not work as well as the Rev 4 on single engine Bajas - the drive is too deep. I tried a 22 Bravo - this prop lifted the stern whereas the Rev4 carries the bow and the Outlaws, 272's and 275's need bow lifting props. Compared to my labbed 23 Mirage the Rev4 turns about 150 rpm less. Personally, I think you will turn the 21 Rev4 at 4900-5000 based on your info.,

That's odd that you were getting 65 with 4500?? I was able to spin 5k on my 454 mag to hit 65 in cold weather!

I tried a 21p rev 4, though I like it a lot, it was too small! Tapping rev at 61mph..

So i agree with 275boss, you will be above your wot range.. you should try a 23p rev 4 as it will be better out the box.

Other question is why mess with it if your already getting 65 out a mag??? Unless your looking for better cruise with a load.. stay where you are!!

If cruise.. the 23 rev should do for a stock.. or 22p b1 but you will need to add pitch and cup!
