Hopefully what you buy has a trailer and it can be rolled on. Good luck.

i think im going to buy a 26' shamrock with a lil yanmar turbo diesel... that will get me done until we are open for business, and it will only burn around 4 or 5 gals an hours at cruise... i will need to make hundreds of trips to get all my materials to the island...
in the mean time i will keep hunting for a clean 27 magnum marine cc, thx, rm

Dockwise can get you from Port Everglades, Florida to Golfito, Costa Rica
that is still a ways from Colombia, but it is through the Panama Canal (the only bad thing is it heads north/west after that not south)
http://www.yacht-transport.com/sched...h.html#results
it would be 700 miles from there to Buenaventura hugging the coast with one 70 mile stretch of ocean crossing and another 127 mile stretch.......long total miles, but not really super far stretches not hugging the coast
actually sorry when I looked at where you need the boat to be it looks like Dockwise might not have anything for you....I read the part about "past the Panama Canal" and assumed you meant through and you were west coast Columbia......where you say the resort island will be is east coast
maybe contact Dockwise anyway and they might know others or perhaps they can stop and drop before heading through the canal (for a fee of course haha)
perhaps 7 Star would work better
Palm Beach to Cartagena
