This being my home water I just want to thank all of you for the support of Camp Sunshine and the other charitys that this event donates to. It would have been better to have a lunch stop and apparently all the slips at sunset were sold out so you couldnt park to go turn in your cards. Also seemed like the first group should have been held a little longer in Gainesville so that boats were crossing pathes in a narrow part of the lake.

The original route was to have lunch at Port Royale but the entries out grew the facility.

The organizers have made positive changes every year. I am sure they will make a few more and they DO read our reviews.

I agree on the Gainesville section but it was not as bad as I had expected. I hope they put the first stop farther up the lake and maybe use a houseboat as the card stop. Another 10 miles would really help spread out the whole field.

I had an awesome time, great event. The raft up Friday was great. The rest of the KY boys had a great time too but I think I may have topped them. I also learned a few things. Now I know to always have my spare props with me and attempt to pace myself better. And I got lucky and found a prop to replace the one I broke at a good price. It was good to meet you Cash Bar. Hopefully I can make it back next year.
