I have the gopro2,Im trying to figure the best settings, and bet way/place to mount it,I need some advice [ATTACH=CONFIG]505142[/ATTACH]

on the transom I getting alot of spray from the exhaust,water on the lens.

On the engine hatch a little vibration

In the ending compartment more vibration

On the side of the boat its ok

Where do I down load it to put it on the net? I have a pro photobucket acc and it downloads,but the play back quality is reduced and you see the dot matrix squares too.there around 200meg file

Youtube would be worse,

what about the frame rate?

www.rammount.com has some nice options. You could use a universal band clamp roll bar style mount to the grab handle on the swim step.

I have the contour roam,I set mine on 720p @60fps.I then convert the file to avi and upload to you tube directly.As for mounts,ram mount w/ suction cup works great.I put it on the back of the boat w/ an extra high strength twine to tether it.
I find that when mounted on the bow,the waves just don't look as big when going at them.

so does the 60fps make a clearer video?

yea Ive got some paracord as a tether


got to figure out what the cleanest/clearest area on the transom so the exhaust water doesent covering up the view,

wonder if rainx would help
