Just heard from a reliable source Velocity Powerboats has been sold.

Good Luck to the new owners, Will be interesting to see what they do with this legendary brand...

I wondered where they went... was driving down I4 not long ago and saw the building was empty... Hmm... Maybe Ill have to take a ride up there and see the new digs.

This can't be a good thing seeing Steve stepp and Kenny were the ones that I always spoke with and they had tons of knowledge about their boats. Glad I finished my build when I did because I must have called them 20 times with questions.

From what I understand Kenny isn't going anywhere and Steve will be around for a while to transition the new owners.

I'm sure the new owners weren't looking to only buy some hardware, the intellectual knowledge of that business that both Kenny and Steve possess are probably worth a lot more than the molds...

I saw the listing last summer, the asking price was basically the value of the facility and land.
