We had use of the Rio Roses/Lip-ship Cigarette at the SBI Ft. Myers race a few months ago. It was a very impressive boat. Great lines, great handling and it is a Cigarette! Of course, with the name also comes the price tag. I do not have any idea what the retail price is, but I can guarantee that it is not cheap. If you can swing it, you will have an incredible boat!!

I also have a desire for these type boats. I agree with the above boats and also love and impressed with the CONCEPT that is built near the Miami airport. Concert Powerboats. The thing I like about Powerplays is the fact they can build it with big blocks and bravos if you choose. I haven't figured out why the new Scarabs did away with the cuddy up front.

Wardly,
I have a 88 F-33 DONZI with 97 250 EFI MERC’S. I am a big fan of center consoles; you can do anything with them. If you want speed look nowhere else than the 33 CIG or 33 Power play, Midnight makes a great boat with a real good ride in the rough but you'll have to throw more power at it to get the speed. If I could afford one I would have a 33 Café Open with 300’s. Let us know what you go with.

Hey don't worry about having outboards, after all they are made for boats, unlike i/o's which are glorified car engines. nobody rip my head off, I have no problem with huge horsepower i/o's. I'm kind of leaning toward a center console myself because they are so versatile. You never really spend time in the cabins, except to change clothes and sleep anyway, so the benches are kind of pointless. The extra cockpit means more people, and more people means a better party. just my .02
