Insta trim hose leaking
I just bought a baja 232 islander and it has insta trim trim tabs and they were not working. I checked the fluid and it was empty, I put some atf in and it is leaking on the cylinder where the hose attaches. I disconnected it and the hose is frayed on the end and looks like it's missing a rubber seal on the end. Is there a way to put a new connector or just get it sealed up, or should I just get a new hose with the connector on it?

The hose should just slid over the cyl hose barb. There is no seal. The plastic sleeve that slides over the hose can be a PITA to reinstall. When I replaced my hoses, they sent me hose clamps to use instead of the plastic sleeve.

If you have enough slack. That hose can be a chore to get on the barb, especially if its the original hard hose.

It is the original hose and trying to balance myself on the swim plat form trying to see what's going on and it sprayed a little ATF into the lake so I need to pull it off the lake and see what I can do, thanks guys.
