I can only imagine how many letter words were expressed across the headsets each time a prop let go.

Congrats guys! How much faster do you think it could have been sans prop failures?
I see drag racing is using carbon fiber wheels now. Could we have carbon fiber props?

I was good to see them finish and take the record back even with props not holding up.

Blume was pushing the boat as a 426 - not a 399... is it only a 39'er???

Were the engines 5.9 or 8.3 Cummins? I thought the 480's were 8.3

best news ever, I have know Buzzi for a long time and he has always been an arrogant horses azz so to see him lose the record is great. I assure you he is pissed and trying to find a way to claim it is not legit. way to go guys,

Given he knows to a T what fuel load he had remaining in the boat he might do things a bit differently if he has to attempt this in the future again. They will be trying a record run from Key West to Cancun and this is a good test for the fuel burn, loads and such so there are a lot of positives to take away from this run.

Side note, I have no idea how that boat is going to get back to the States from Bermuda. Had they had a supply of propellers they could have added more fuel and ran back to a different location setting another record. Without propellers flat decking this to a cargo ship takes a long time.
Maybe Arneson Industries could pony up for another set of props?

Great effort men...we are all proud of you!!
