How many People wish they where at lake of the ozarks?

I'd like to be there because of the huge gathering of our kind of power boats. However, I wish there was an offshore event that generated as much enthusiasm as this or the Havasu thing does. Seems weird having offshore boats make pure speed runs on smooth water, just seems like they need to be in their true element - rough water. While the displays of horsepower and hulls must be heaven, it's strange that the two biggest annual events are on lakes.

No wishing here it was another great event. Been to all of them since 2000.. it does help that it's our home lake... My Ways pass was a beautiful sight...
