Arneson Surface Drives would like to congratulate Louie Marchese and Eddie Young on posting a 164 mph speed today at the 2013 LOTO Shootout besting their nearest competitor by 30 mph!!

Marchese and Young ran a Skater 338 Fat Boy powered by a set of Eddie Young Performance Marine engines coupled to a set of Arneson #7M Drive Units with Hering Propellers. Great Effort!!

the announcers talked about this boat probably as much or more than any boat besides MyWay and the pontoons

they talked about it was cut in half and widened 8" I believe and then on the run they were all commenting on the fact that it was one of the best runs they had seen because the boat came right up and then was steady with very little if any porpoising as the boat packed air to get smooth and level....at the time the run of this boat was after the 209 MyWay run and they were still saying this boat was probably the best run they had seen of the day as far as getting the boat in position/trimmed and holding it for the full run

After all the problems, loss and headaches with his prior boat, it's great to see his efforts became such a dominant running boat... that happens to be still in the dial in stage.

Beautiful boat, beautiful passes!

Who else has "Louie, Louie" playing in their head? kinda goes with the post shootout atmosphere
