Vintage Boat Regatta

Check THIS out. Some classic race boats from days gone by are going to run some hot laps on Lake George this weekend. Looks like an event not to be missed.

I just spoke to Dick O'Dea. I invited him up and he may be coming. That would be great as he is TRULY a LEGEND!

Shane, according to the website the boats will be on the course throughout the day. What time do you plan to head down and where will you tie up to watch?

Those and others will also be in Clayton for the Antique Races August 17&18, and at the Buffalo Launch Club (the oldest powerboat club in the USA) September 7&8!

Laster,

I am staying in Niskayuna Friday night as Kristen is leaving for Colorado on Sunday so we want to hang on Friday night. I will be heading to teh lake early am. Probably like 7ish. Nothing really established interms of time and location. I guess we will get as close as we can, I would think on either the east or west straight away. This will allow for the most viewing including the turns. Maybe we should all hook up at my house and run down together.
