Agreed! The cruiser had nothing to do with the blow over of the boat...

A driver and a throttleman and two more dead boaters. Does anyone still doubt that poker runs have become unsanctioned races instead of the fun runs that they started out as? The madness WILL stop either through self regulation or government intervention. Very sad and very bad for our sport.

Thank you, Bill. We had a report of that early yesterday but we couldn't confirm it. So we kept the story down to the few facts we could confirm.

Such a sad day. Condolences to all the family members and friends of the departed.

I agree, and have for a while. However, this thread and the others in regard to this tragedy are probably not the best place for this debate. It is certainly a subject for discussion. Just right now, this early after the incident.... probably not yet...

The dcb was just lucky not to go all the way over like this skater. So sad that this happened because a cruiser wanted a front row seat.
Keep seeing references to a video, did I miss the link somewhere?

My condolences!

you tube link was in other thread- I see it was edited out as it should have been. That thread isn't the place for it.
