A guy I know tried the same thing as the guy with the Yellowfin. At the last instant the boat tilted to port and it missed the bow stop. Put an 8 inch long gouge in the gel. It did not buff out.

I'll admit the first video had me quite nervous.
As for the Yellowfin video; you can only do that at the right ramp; one you know well. We've have been known to load them like that when dipping at the 14th Street ramp close to the AT factory; pending the tide level. I agree with the strap/winch/chain comment, but a step bottom boat ought not to slip off the trailer. Listen and watch carefully as the Yellowfin's OBs are used to push it up the ramp. Not exactly friendly to the base of the ramp or anyone docking/docked behind you.
