My parents just went down to visit friends in Lakeland and called me yesterday to inform me that that bought a house there. I personally like fort Myers Cape Coral are much better

Lakeland is nice, just not quite the Gulf access that most boaters want, within a hour boat ride we can be at Marco Island or Port Charlotte, congrats on the new house.

FMO will down that way a few times this year, we're going to both Naples and to Marco Island this season, so keep an eye out for us, about 30+ boats and yes, Naples is very nice.

been here since 1998 move from Baltimore there's a lot going on from October through the end of April drag boats,drag cars ,Gulf boating, hotrods , harleys, and I love it

Even though we love LOTO in the Summer, it's tough to go back anytime from October - March, winters not my thing anymore, I can see why you stayed.
