The competition between these two teams is fantastic, and comes when the sport really needs it.

Looks like the safety features in the boat worked out well...not many people are lucky enough to come out unscathed in a heavy spin at those speeds.

Nice video, Crazy how fast that thing comes around in what seems like a normal turn, in water that it should be able to turn in. Is there not enough rudder area for how hard you guys are trying to turn the boat? Would steerable drives do better? Arneson,#6/8 etc?

Good racing for sure! Geico had the line and was leading. Qatar just misjudged the gap and got a little too close. That is racing and I think it is very cool of both teams to not make a big deal of it. Qatar sure can build steam on those straights! Big respect to both teams

I really felt like the opposite was the case. Qatar got there first and made the turn. Geico came in hot underneath and could not hold it down as he indicted in the interview. Regardless both teams showed a lot of class.
