Just wondering if any of you have used the Durratech clear mixed in with the Gel Coat? I am really leaning towards Gel Coating my boat using Durratech clear mixed in with the color. What I am wondering is how much better does it spray out with the Durratech? Also what do you think. Am I making a HUGE mistake hear? The other option is Awlgrip however I do not have a booth to spray it in and that could be a issue. I also figured that I can either wet sand the boat before I paint (Awlgrip) or after (Gelcoat). I have a water Jitterboard for the wet sanding to help make it go faster. Anyhow any info hear would be great as I am ready to prime then paint is next. :D:D

I've heard of so many problems when spraying gell. I'd have to say that you should be sticking to a quality acrylic enamel.
