hard core - I need to overnight on my boat
I was driving by a small town in mid Illinois yesterday and saw this. Had to pull over and take a picture. There are about 5 new homes along the highway with a pond about 20x40 yards, can't be more than 5-6 feet deep. but in it floats this guys 20+ foot boat. I have no idea how he got it launched. But I'm sure he is happy he can get on his boat right off his back yard.

I've often thought if i ever have a place with a pond i will definitely go find me some derelict old 30-35 foot cruiser and make it into a cool raft kinda thing. maybe even put in a dock and have a couple of them and a tiki bar, kinda like my own little party spot lol

I bet it won't come out this winter. I'll have to check in a few months and see if it is frozen in place.

there used to be a guy near me in Canada that had an above ground pool. He bought an old cruiser and backed it up to the pool so you could jump off the back deck into the pool.. It had power and looked like a cool little pool house

There used to be a house in NJ that you could see into the backyard from the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway around Kenilworth. The guy had an in ground pool with a houseboat in it.
