Looking for a surveyor in LA area. More info.
I'm looking at a few 35 cafe's in the LA area. Any good recommendations for surveyors?
While I would love to look at them in person it isn't worth the 500.00 in a plane ride to view them.
What are the normal procedures/checks on a survey?
Rough costs for a 35?

my 33ol was $16 a foot.. or $528!
Survey included: over 100 pics, moisture reading of transom and hull, ran engines on hose and temped with gun, made sure everything was present and in working order. tabs, lights, radio, gauges etc.
Any defects were listed w/pictures to review with dealer/broker to correct if agreed. Does NOT include engine scan or mechanical check, but dealer had paperwork on new power in my case...
If your looking at several.. either narrow down with request of pics/info and then survey the one you want to buy and survey that one to make sure its good!!!
There is a website for accredited marine surveyors.... don't remember acronym.
