Thumbs up

"4.4 mph faster without."

So it worked as it should, breaking up surface tension, right? Most boats run faster in slightly choppy water.

I wanna run 3 inch tubing from in front of my windshield. ( like the cowel are on a car) to my steps along the outer part that gets less airation. You would think it would get pressurized prety well at 100 mph.. This would have to remove drag.. And if the tubes are above the waterline no water would come up? Or check valve it. Thoughts ?

Just to clarify the conditions when I did it. This was a spur of the moment thought as I was backing the trailer down the ramp one evening to go try a new set of props( which stunk). The ocean bay was like a mirror with a slight ( very slight) roll . No chop, no wind, no swell. 1 point of interest was when i tore the gorilla tape off, it was concave in shape which leads me to believe there may be vacuum from the water running under the step which pulls the air in from the sides.

That's flat water and that why they used in the Biesemeyer I posted before. Drag boats only run on flattest water. V hulls like even the smallest chop and the bigger the better which does the same thing.

If you run the lines above the water line it would be fine unless you back up fast enough that you push water up the tubes.
