My friend at the marina has a 30 Spectre Cat with twin300SX outboards. Boat cruises without effort about 100mph on almost any kind of water. Very stable boat in rough water and high speed turns. I am very impressed with it however I have to agree with some of the other posters in this thread regarding cabin space.
The Spectre has none to speak of but has some storage because of the outboards.

At last years poker run I got a chance to go on a 52 Nor-Tec and it alt least had a place to lay your head down for the night.

I still like my big Chris for its creature comforts.............................

I just turn it sideways.

Just kidding. I love Cigs (especially AM II), but the narrative about walking away is just a fact. They are a different machine.

We all like to see people oogle over our boats. That's what it's like to own a big cat plain and simple.
I bet u would walk that OL as well, if you were set up right

But outright speed was not my point, sitting with a windshield vs standing with out makes for a big difference in perception of speed and comfort imo.
I think it has seen 118 but that day only 111. It does have stage III Whipple upgrades so closer to 875hp than the original 700hp.

I hate that the camera work was that rough but we kept crossing freighter wakes and I made him swear he wouldn't lose my iPhone out of the boat.

Some of those freighter wakes and cruiser wakes can really sneak up on you on that river...

click on the picture that shows the stern with the outboards at the back the tunnel looks like it curves down, am I wrong? Regardless this is a tiny tunnel compared to a Skater, and also this boat is to small.

How many of these have been made?

No question! And at half the cost as well! Hard to beat a cat without a big stick.
