where is the best place to list old outboards for sale?
i just bought a 18 and a 32 ft manta boats to ship to olombia. my 32 is in the port of cartagena right now and they are jacking me for some bribe money, 3k bucks, because my boat doesnt have brand new current model year engines, so i want to get rid of the 1980 140hp strt 6 merc on the 18 before i ship it, and re power it here in colombia with a new eng with warranty. was wondering what sites deal with older outboard powered boats. thx for any ideas, rm

yup, alex is a niece guy, i paid 3700 for it, the hull is nice and solid, its a 100 fiberglass hull with no coring to rot!
i will awlgrip it white and baby blue, like my dads 76 donzi. i will buy a 20" 250hp merc for it and have a freight forwarder sneak it in for me... it isnt worth the pita to import that old merc str8 6 that came on it, its only 140 ponies, the boat will only run 45mph with that st8 6 on it... it is a donzi splash but has a pad in the rear, im hoping to see mid 70s with a stout 250 on it.
i just paid 20k to import a container full of contraband tools and equipment, and a blown bbc for my 48 anglia im building... colombia is a real pain to import stuff to. i have been trying to import my 67 pro touring camaro, i just got the permission for that, and will ship it some time in jan...rm
