Anyone boat around Pensacolo Florida?

We will also be leaving for Pensacola, Florida on Saturday the 5th. We have thought about staying at a place called the purple parrot island resort, it is in Perdido key. Not bad pricing, 600 a week for a one bedroom cottage. You can check out www.vrbo.com if you are looking to rent a condo or home on the water. There prices are not too bad, we stayed in one last year, but it was off season, so the weather wasn't the greatest.

Emerald Coast Poker Run is on the 17th in Destin and Ft. Walton. Big turn out, great boating and excellent winnings.

we just got back, stayed in orange beach wich is inbetwen gulfshores and predo key , it took about 30 miniuts to get to pensicola bay by boat, wee stayd at the back bay resort ,the had boat slips so you didnot have to trailer every day, the cove at pensacola the jelly fish were real bad, the were stinging couldnot even get in water, the board walk at pensacola beach wasent bad, if need more info e mail me glad to help.

Chuck-if only my son didn't start Kindergarden today, we'd be there
Rob-a 54? yr old grandpa died at Orange Beach on Monday or Tuesday last week while we were there. There was a tropical depression that blew thru the area & there was a strong under current, a lot of rip tides, too. Apparently, he was trying to get his granddaughters out of the water. We played on the shore during time, but that's all.
No jellyfish, but we did get a bit of the seaweed soup starting that Tuesday/Wednesday.
PLUS.....I got to meet Mandy Lauderdale from Temptation Island & MTV's Spring Break. She was staying at the same hotel. I met her in the pool I got to take a pix with her. She moved to Pensacola to record her albulm with her ROCK band, called EOS? Or AEOS? anyways, she also bartends at THE BREAKERS in b/w Pensacola & Destin. NOTE: Temptation Island was totally scripted. She was paid to say & do all that!!! Apparently, AAAAALLLLLLL the reality shows are like that. I was disappointed to find that out. Oh well. She was really cool. And crazy in person
