http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquid_breathing If man were meant to fly he would have wings.....the earth is flat.....if man were meant to go under water he would have gills.......Good thing some people believe nothing the eyes and ears tell them only what their imagination tells them is possible . ALL our advancements have come from dreamers .

This is not a good idea. O2 is toxic below 30 ft and I seriously doubt N2 is in water at sufficient concentrations to make this work

theres a catch though . . . . a wise man once said "its easy to be creative and its easy to be credible . . . . its difficult to be both"

this is a product that i dont believe is possible and the most basic math can verify it. Its not based on breathing a highly technical oxygenated liquid (very possible). The claim here is to extract breathable air from water. . . . . aint gonna happen

I agree wholeheartedly on the value of people dreaming . . . . heck I AM one of those dreamers

the differance is all those things were possible. on the very simplest second grade math this device is not and the links above are of completely different concepts. Even if you could extract enough nitrogen from common water not only would you need a schit ton of energy to crack the covalent bond youd probably have to pull several thousand gallons a minute through it to obtain the proper ratio of N to O. If you chose to get around this little "glitch" and add N through the use of a tank or something well youd essentially have what we already have . . . . a re breather. At some point you have to fall back on the science of what it is your trying to do. This . . . . as described . . . is pure fantasy.

the patent cracks me up though, actually i dont think is anything more then the application which is basically meaningless. Theres nothing technical about it and is on the order of getting a patent for time travel by saying step one get a time machine, step two travel through time

Never discount anything....
.
.

As a kid, years ago, when the Maumee River overflowed it's banks and would flood the entire State of Ohio.....
.
.
... I used a garden hose to breathe as I would walk to school in 38 foot deep water, up a waterfall, both ways, with the neighbor's cripple kid on my back, and only one boot wearing a speedo.

Kids and James Bond today have it EZ .
