Thats great news, is this that same hull that Archer Marine raced in A class years ago. There was a red hull I think that set the kilo record in the class for a while. And didn't you guys put a blackhawk drive on and run 93mph. Is this a straight 24 degree hull with no pad, steps etc. Good luck with the build, looking forward to seeing the progress

Yes same boat Nigel and I raced back in the day. It has a double strake right at the keel that goes about 10 ft forward to make a nice little delta pad no steps didn't like the factory one boats with step was a much better boat without steps. The laminate is vinyl ester resin cored and vacuumed bagged with foam bulkheads and floor for weight. Should be a nice strong and light layup. We are setting the first boat up to run a Bravo or Blackhawk I still have one of the Blackhawks that I ran in the 90s . Just have to find some props sold all of the old props. Almost did the first boat red like the old race boat but decided to go with white. Will do some old school paint job!

Yes they did you just have to understand that you can't shift much , But they sure were fast! And that's what matters!
