Palm Beach Florida vacation
Hello Florida boaters (so jealous of you guys in the winter months). Question for you guys. Where is a nice bar/restaurant on the water to get some decent food/drinks and see some nice boats in the Palm Beach area? My wife and I are heading down to Palm Beach for a quick mini vacation (get the hell out of this cold weather) on the 20th through the 24th of this month. We would love to see, hear and smell race fuel in the air (ok, the smell race fuel in the air is just me and not the wife) of some nice boats while we are there. If you guys could name a few places to go we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Brad and Dawn

Cruzan Rum bar - 11511 Ellison Wilson Rd
North Palm Beach, FL 33410.
You will probably not see a bunch of fast boats, but it is on the water, and probably my favorite bar I have ever been to. Laid back, sand floor, fire pits.

You won't find much in Palm Beach....especially during the Miami Boat Show Poker Run! Lots of triple engine CC's running around and tons of yachts but not a lot of I/O go fast stuff.

On 2nd thought, make a day trip to Gilbert's in Key Largo Friday morning! I would plan to be there no later than 10 am and watch the 75+ poker run boats arrive. Have lunch then you can shoot back to Palm Beach.....about 120 miles each way!
