I've been around boats of all types since I was 5 years old. My first boat was a 1978 17 ft Winner with 85HP outboard. I was 20.

Current boat is a 1999 32 Fountain fever with 502MPI some what tweeked. Naturally, there were several boats in between.

I'm in aviation.

First boat was a '93 Crownline 196 with a 350 mag when I was 27. Spent to much time on cars before that. My parents did have a 16' Crestliner with a 115 evinrude.
I've got a '93 Baja 24' Outlaw with a 454 mag getting some upgrades now.
I'm a Police Officer in Omaha, Nebraska. Don't hold that against me though, I'm one of the guys that gives a lot of "just slow it down a little and be careful" warnings.

First boat was a wooden 12' jon boat, hand built by my father and I. We stuck a 14hp Elgin (Sears) outboard on it.

Current boats are a Yamaha 760 Jet Ski, '89 Formula 242LS, and a '90 Cigarette Cafe Racer.

Occupation - sales of "ID Card" systems and security equipment to colleges/universities.

My first boat was a 13-foot Feather Craft with a 50hp Merc Outboard. A Feather Craft is an all Aluminum boat with a curved stern. They are small boats, but they can turn on a dime.

I started out with a 1970 unknown. thats what the regestration said. it was a 16' alluminum 3/4 V hull with a 50 hp merc that must of been form the 50s. the engine blew a rod the second time out. the next was a 17' ebtide bowrider with a 115 hp johonson it was a good lake boat for skiing. the next was a 21' nordic with a 365 hp 454 and a bravo. to fast for skiing but great for having fun. the new boat I currently have is a 28 scarab that I am building a blown 454 to drop in it. each boat was a large step up from each other. I cant wait to see wat I get next. The only problum is that I have to stay under the 100 mph range. I have a agreement with the wife, If i get a boat that dose 100 mph I have to buy her a harley davidson.
