Well honestly if they make the power the weight saving might be an advantage in that particular package and setup. definitely a cool boat.

I wonder WHY one would build small blocks? I could see if they were newer, LS based, but these are advertised as "old-school" and everything is new, not rebuilt? Interesting...especially considering the torque question and the drives involved...

Also...why can't people spell anymore? It's going to be late afternoon before I stop cringing at this dude's verbage... "Trailor?" Really?

The only thing i can think of, is maybe he was trying to knock some weight off the back of the boat. Mike Tkachs 38 Fever with the stepped bottom, and #6 drives, looks like a 32 fountain the way it sits in the water at rest. His tailpipes are about almost all the way submerged, his beak is pointing way up. I have a non stepped 38 Fever, with heavy SSM drives, trannies etc. My boat probably has 10'' between the water line and the bottom of the swim platform at rest. Mike Tkachs is almost at the water line. The sixes are heavy!

Never going to trim those drives up.... looks like they would rip the swim platform off... I don't know much (nothing really) about #6 drives... Do they trim up (trailer position) or are they fixed aside from normal operation trim? I don't think I have ever seen a #6 trimmed all the way up...

And why do people continue to use ALL CAPS WHEN POSTING ADS TO EBAY? Damn is that hard to read.

That is one wild build. Looks like a ton of fun. You are definitely right about those drives looking like they want to crush the platform.

Hell...my Bravos on extension boxes would hit the platform on my 35 if you trimmed them up high enough...but it had to be like TRAILER trip levels...not something you'd use whilst "operating." Looks like there is ZERO room for trim on those 6s!
