Alexi at Boostpower has built several 800 cubic inch NA mills. Here are 2 ready to go to some lucky customer.
If memory serves correctly they are 1100's
Alexi has always treated me great and works on both my boats.

Whats your hate for blowers? If set up right I`d rather have a off the shelf parts blower motor all day then try to make the power with a big cam, high lift, radical, expensive etc.. large cube engine.
So what if you don`t have a dyno over there in 3rd world land.. theres more people that don`t dyno then people that do.. get a set of Quick Fuels and I bet it`ll be a very close in jetting.. then just hook up a A/F gauge in the boat and fine tune it.

Cant speak for the poster but big lakes out here routinely have ambient air over 110F. This means you can't skip an intercooler even if you are just pushing a few lb to wake things up, so now you have extra water plumbing, sometimes a 2 stage pump, and a piece with a core to rot out over time even if its cupronickel.
Its just "more stuff" to be dealing with.
Every time someone gets killed in a blown cat insurance companies tighten their grip on us.
Any rig with a blower on checks a different box in the insurance company column.
Not all guys care, but if someone gets hurt you will be denied coverage immediately upon comparing what you wrote down to whats in the boat.
A big inch NA mill with carb or even fuel injection doesn't set off alarm bells.

I had 598" kinsler injected brodix 351 Oval port cnc with a healthy cam would make around 900hp 6500 rpm. 10.0 to 1CR
598" Head hunters 383mc same cam and dry sump made 960hp 6700rpm over 800+lbs at 4000rpm little hard to plane off with full load of fuel. Needed weight in the nose
One advantage to blower you could run stainless marine exhaust less maintenance no Leakey headers.

There is nothing better than hearing big inch N/A motors fire up at the dock. The bark they send off is unmistakable. After all when it is all said and done one thing will always hold true. THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT

On the edge of idle for a bravo type drive, but doable.
Love EFI. My little Ilmor 710 belts out 700 NA ponies with only 505 CI.
If it stops running I need to go somewhere.
Carb- I can deal with.
