He's right though. A polish is an abrasive.

I'm a car detailing enthusiast and post on detailingworld.co.uk, autopia.net, live2detail, etc.

Is this Fountain of Youth product chemically stripping oxidation, polishing it out, masking fine scratches with fillers, a mild polish + wax, etc?

A car or boat's "shine" is due to a polished surface, not really a wax. A polished car without wax or sealant will look 10x better than a car with 5 layers of wax that's never been polished, for example.

Where do you get the Waxing Frenzy? I didn't think they were still around.

I really had to sleuth the net to find it. Appears was purchased by a company affiliated with Geoff Bodine. I bought two bottles each the wax and the spray wax. Compared to when it was owned by Hammerhead -- seems like the packaging is smaller (oz's), overall is more expensive, and is a little harder to wipe off than it used to be (both products). But, the finish is still fantastic. http://shop.frenzywax.com/

Thanks! I used to use it years ago and really liked it! I particularly liked that it could be applied in direct sunlight. Very durable and great shine.

I used Ducky products last detail. I found it to work very well. Look them up. They also have a few you tube vids showing how to use. I was very pleased with the product and I have tried many other brands that also worked well. But I do like their product.
