I have 77" 1955mm so they are a tight fit, using flexible couplings and drive wedges to get everything parallel to the running surface and mounted as low as possible.

The transom angle was 16 degress i believe but we have made plates with 6 degress angle making the drives adjustable from 2-10 degress. we have a pair of u-joints but we will have to take them apart and weld in a longer shaft to make them fit. https://www.dropbox.com/s/s4v55lcnyb...82309.jpg?dl=0 and we have also made boxes for the rudders to mount on. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w55xpznd5n...A0000.jpg?dl=0

Does the original 850hp Seateks have methanol and water injection? Pyros is that the exhaust temperature? There is two temp sensors on the turbo but there is nothing saying who the manufacturer is so it is impossible to find gauges.

No watermeth is aftermarket, pyros I haven't checked them out yet but they will be standard K or J type in fact I think the motors have one of each, one on the top and one on the bottom of the turbo mounting flange.
Your motors are probably like mine two sets of sensors for everything on set for analogue gauges and on set digital and data logging.

Drive setup looks good with the transom extension, are those the props you propose to run? what size are they?

Thanks! Those Rolla props came with the drives and i believe they are 19.75x28, both RH the ones that we have ordered are 20x46" 5-blade cleavers. Hopefully it will work with 46" pitch but it might not be the most efficient solution.

Wow, never heard of that much pitch. That must look like a paddle wheel.

46" pitch! that seems a lot, what gear ratio was that calculated on.

The plywood will add about 80kg of extra weight and wasn't put there just because it was fun but because the balsa was full of water and rott..
Yes we ran the boat in Arendal, Norway. it ran the kilo qualifying at 165 +/- a half mph with 980 hp Sterling open class engines running 7800 rpm through 1.63 #6 drives. I forget which props we ran for the kilo but they were 5 blade Herring's, probably 16.5 x 38 or some where around that. we came in second in the run to one of the Victory boats that ran last and hung it way out to run about 1/2 mph more.
