They put out a durable, marinized, high power product. The price is up there but I am just making assumptions that is not the end all for this system.
I would also use the Wet Sounds SD6 if one amp is your goal, one JL M600/6 does not have enough power for 6 M880's, but you could use two of them bridged. Always better to have more power than you need and adjust the gains as needed.

I have 4 M880s in my boat and they are running off the bridged channels of the M600/6's the other 4 channels unbridged are powering the 4 7.7's,

He listed that he only wanted one amp, but I'm with you, two JLm600/6 bridged would not be much more money then the focal amp that was listed but would be more power and sealed better for the saltwater environment.

All I know is that the boats I have heard with Wet Sounds systems are LOUD and Clear, granted they have more power and bigger speakers than mine but that amp has some power, much more than anything JL makes and unless you only boat in fresh water its a mistake to use something not designed and built for the marine environment. IMO

This is for the Nortech or the Intrepid? No subs or tower speakers??

8 M880's properly powered are going to be deafening in that small area!
