I hate this too but bought my boat that way anyway. It was a big pain to me. Only upside is when the Sonic goes it now is sitting under a 2013 trailer.

As a buyer:
No price
Not enough pics or old ones
No mention of hours
I hate it when people post pics of their boat beached

As a seller:
When people ask to rate it 1-10. I keep a separate picture folder with blemishes for long distance people. If you're local, get off your ass and come look at it.

Its a 10 year old beater truck with 5 pictures.

Here are the texts I recieved:
Can I see more pictures.
*No dipchit its a 10 year old truck not a collector car.

I only have $1000 - will you take a $1000
*I dont even return that one.

I dont have a car to come up there. Can I come look at it this weekend if I get a ride?
*Sure, okay

How do I know the engine is really new.
*Um the ad states I have all receipts from a local shop, as well as the fact that you can drive it, run it and pretty much tell when you hear it run and LOOK at the engine.

And! My personal favorite. The low ballers that try to negotiate you down that HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE TO SEE IT!
*Dude, just come up here with cash....
I just helped my daughter get a new (to her) car and she traded my old 225K really beat Montero (it ran) Dealer offered my $500 for the trade, I might have got 750-800 selling it on CL but didn't want to deal with the people who are looking for an $800 car for the reasons listed above.

P.S. Seller "Hey I have to get $20k for it because that what I owe"
Buyer thinking "Good luck dude, that car/boat/bike is only worth about $12k. The bank is going to love this one."
Buyer speaking "Thanks, but its not really what I am looking for."

I had an 89 Cadillac Eldo barittz that looked nice and ran nice and had a nice interior . I put it on CL for 700 bucks just to get it out of my hair and got so fed up with people wasting my time with 200 dollar offers and I will be there in an hour to buy it and never show up .

So after 2 weeks of that crap i took the brand new battery out of it at the crusher and took my 500 dollar check.

A guy I knew that sold used cars down here warned me that people that need a 1000 car don't have 200 dollars to their name.

Maybe the boat name is price related.......

100K into a 15K boat.....seems like bad math to me!

I'm thinking this boat, traded on the Cigarette that runs through 8 footers without spilling a drop or the Bob Teague speed machine Magic!
