most common ones to bug me:
100k Speedboat for little money!!
Complete restoration
Bolsters redone
Drive only has 50 hours
Engine fresh from engine shop.., just a needs ittle TLC,only asking 10k FIRM..

pics show a bare dirty hull on a rusting trailer with Bolsters in a corner of the garage
and a bare block with pistons rods heads etc laying on floor nest to a corroded drive..
Really worth about 1 maybe 2k to part out and take rest to dump..

What goes thru the brain of these people that they think anyone will buy this junk??..

The other one for me is all the people that are way in the hole on the loan
and think that since they owe x amount they can sell it for x amount..
Sorry buddy,,you lived way outside your means now deal with it..
Sell it for what its actually worth and pony up the rest yourself.

This might not apply to boats much but I have gone to look at farm and construction machinery and if the guy has it running when you get there it is a huge red flag. He probably spent your entire drive time getting it started.

I recently sold an enduro/dual sport on CL.... What a PITA. 50ish texts, divided just about equally between ridiculously low offers via text and the "is it streat legul?". (Um, only if you insure it and register it, jackwagon). I ended up selling it (for asking price) to the first guy that actually CALLED, but it took a week of weeding through dreamers, scammers, "brokers", and no-shows. My last boat sale was also via CL and far easier.
