Porsche 997 Turbo in the Grand Sport Class. Car has been "warmed over" a little with Tial turbos, bigger intercoolers, injectors, tune Carrillo rods etc etc. Truth be told its my wifes daily driver and I am stealing it for the weekend.

Nice! Does the Grand Sport Class have a target speed average?
Your wife is cool. My g/f won't let me take her vette to the track. :P
A good friend of mine in Mesa, AZ has a 2003 911 X50 and I've been trying to talk him into doing it. I should give you his # so you can hound him. lol

Yea, class target speed is 150 MPH avg, cannot exceed 165 MPH or disqualified.
996 X50 car is a VERY fast car, with a simple/good tune and exhaust it is close to 500 HP to all 4 wheels.

That's haulin' the mail. Good luck and be safe! Would love to see some pics and/or vid of your run.
His X50 has been warmed over a bit, but I don't know to what extent. It was a Phoenix-area shop that did the work.
Do you know if the Big Red Camaro is gonna be there? Seems like I heard on fb that it was.

Hopefully your buddy's car was warmed over by Evolution Motorsports in Tempe AZ, they know their Porsche's!
