496ho fuel system help!

Default 496ho fuel system help!

Motors were running fine ..changed fuel water seperator filters and now want run..fired off for a second then ran out of fuel..filled filters with fuel but some spilled out while putting on...have took off and refilled and cycled key several times..pump runs and cuts of buy motor want start..ran fine prior to filter change..any way to prime system?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. .thanks

Does that particular engine have a VST on top of engine where the elec fuel pump is located? If so there is usually a larger nut on top you can open and look inside, if the fuel has drained out then you will have to prime it. I could be incorrect for that particular system but have a look.

take a small screw driver and see is your getting pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. if not bleed it
