Nah... it was rougher than schit out there.
I was able to cruise at about 60 mph without beating myself up to badly during the morning, but I had to back WAY off when I was approaching Kelley's Island. I think I was down to 35 mph at times and taking a lot of water in the face.

The leg's after lunch were a little calmer. I was able to hug the coastline a open her up a little. However, by now, most of the pack was pretty well spread out. I tried to race the Superboat (cat) and got beat, but not as badly as I was expecting. At the next card stop, he had his hatch open (I think you can see it in the picture) and was mumbling something about a busted rocker. I was only running in the high 80's while full out. I figured I could sacrafice a few mph for the sanity of knowing I wouldn't be shooting for the moon. The final shot into Port Clinton was the best. Waves were still at least 3 feet, but we were heading straight into them. That's when the guy in the red 353 ran against me. He was strong, but I still pulled him pretty good.

It was rough, but I still had fun.
