They have been making that boat for a while, I think they sold quite a few. Post this message on the Sunsation section, you may get more responce. Also go to www.sunsationboats.com and post on their board. You could also give David a call at the factory. I'm sure he would be more than happy to help you.

Slingshot:

It's a fun little boat for someone who likes to drive. I've got a 94, and it's a good boat. Doesn't handle handle like my brothers 38' cigarette, but not too many things do. I have 400HP motor in it last year ran up 60's to 70 all day long NO CHINE WALK. With nitrous, and a prop change got upper 80's chine walk about 78-82 then drove through it. The new motor will cruise in the 70's no problem. I equate it to a small sports car, doesn't have the brute force, but with a good driver will out perform it's high powered cousins. It does take a little getting used to driving it, and you must pay attention. If you've got any questions feel free to send me an e-mail [email protected] or drop me a line at the office (706) 864-8544 ext. 125

Nope, the boat handles great, you can spin it on a dime. It reminds me of being in a REALLY big jet Ski. I'll put it handling wise vs anything in it's size range, it's just a tight boat.

I've got a buddy with a 25' Baja I can take him in any kind of water, but if we're rafted up he's got a lot more room.
