So is all that hose scrap when they are done?? or do they have to clean it all out? Probably several gallons of resin just to fill the hoses, Then several gallons of thinner/acetone just to clean them out. Thats pretty cool stuff...

No, infusion it is simple, fast, quality and clean. With experiences you do not need so many pipes.

When you finish it, you just pick ap all upper layer together with pill play and no other cleaning. It is clean like this:

couple of things. the coring materials are different to allow resin to flow evenly to both sides along with some of the laminates again to help in resin flow.

one of the biggest factors for the infusion is emissions. most states and the feds have cracked down on amount of emissions allowed and using infusion eliminates most of those problems. there are a lot of other non high performance builders using infusion and vinly or polyester resins for this reason.

Excellent point. Infusion is about as close to "closed-mold" production as you can get without closed molds. And your EPA/CARB point is spot on as well.

It is not matter of hull size, but system on channels for front line control.
For vinilester or poliester is infusion probably the best solution, also for epoxi if you take care on health.
