Question Does this aluminum weld look like a dirt dobber??

I had this oil filer/fitting welded on by a buddy that owns a sheet-metal shop..I told him I wanted it to look like the rest of the welds on the valve cover or better, Like stacking Dimes, that I was going to polish them..
It looks ruff to me, what do you all think???

Rob

Its really not that bad, polish it, that will def help.

You are going to be hard pressed to find two welders with similar touch.

A straight line is a lot easy to make purdy then trying to weld in a circle. Where it looks like boogers is where he started and stopped changing position going around the tube. It's hard to start an aluminum weld "hot" to melt in. It's not the best, but not bad either. Aviation welder would probably have made it look nicer, but...? Finish it off a little bit and polish the crap out of it!
