To answer the OP's original question... If it hasn't blown up yet, turn the boost up. repeat untill it goes boom. since your motor isnt fresh, once you find the boom point, turn it down a hair and the new rebuilt motor should be happy there for a while.

Lol. I'm trying to avoid blowing it up. Plus, if my intent were to blow it up just so I can do a rebuild this testing wouldn't help because I'm sure ide convert to a BBF the next go around.

Sounds like the canadian way. LOL.

I have a bunch of Canadian customers that have told me this about torquing bolts " I do it the Canadian way...Tighten it until it breaks, then back it off a hair." Funny !
