timucin the Answer is How good is the Yanmar Dealer or Agency in Turkey ? For service and Backup ,Spare parts And Mechanics ?

We wanted to sell them to the Kuwaiti Coastguard and they Kind of backed away !

I have heard that the longevity is not that good ,A friend of mine is the Yanmar Agent in Bahrain and he stays on top of the engines

steve
that a nice point!

you know what is funny all kinds of services SUX! in my country.

I am not interested in yanmar diesel engines for performance boating but this weight and this much power is very interesting.

I do not know anything about the yanmar engines but the graph's show you can easily receive 30-40 more hp by overboosting.engine makes its high at very low rpms and keeps a straight line to the end.this means (what I understand) it is limited by boost from the manufacturer .( I am not an expert !)
so I thought if their(japanese) marine engine is reliable as their cars ; it would be nice to have around 450hp's , cheap gas ,no-problem engines
