Just wondering what time the weigh-in was for that tournament.
Local tournaments often result in last minute high speed runs to get to the scales

Condolences to the injured and deceased. Another senseless boating accident. This just further reinforces why I do not take my boat out after dark. Driving anything on water at night is dangerous. Add speed, alcohol, drugs and / or poor judgment and bad things happen way to fast. It's just not worth it to me.

All very good replies and normally I would keep my mouth shut in a case like this but I see these Mos-skeeters all the time here they are worse then jet skis and they are the ONLY ones that don't have the courtesy to wave back at my kids... Watch them at the docks loading up the coolers you know ain't filled with water. Alcohol wasn't a factor my ass.

We have a nighttime boating accident unfolding currently here at my home lake. Not many details yet but it is supposed to be a single boat accident around 10PM last night. The boat is under 70’ of water with 5 survivors and one missing.
RIP - Not the way to start the holiday weekend.
