He's one of those guys I'd like to have a few beers with. He is responsible for the Fas3Tech step design under Formula boats. I haven't watched the whole video, but I will. Thanks for posting.
Every time I get the chance to chat with Harry Schoell; I am reminded how much I DON'T know about boats.
Could you imagine being a fly on the wall during a long night of bullshltting at the bar with Michael Peters, Harry Schoell, and Lorne Campbell?

Also the company Ocean 5 with their Naval Architects have spent a lot time with Sea Vee Boats to completely redesign their stepped bottoms. I have taken classes from Ocean 5 for the past 3 years about stepped hulls and will again this Sept. Great info always from them.
Here is a video of what they and Sea Vee boats have been up for the past 2 or 3 years. A lot of testing and stepped hull design.

Man, I just watched that whole video. I'm now more convinced than ever that you need Brownie and Rich Luhrs to add some levity to an otherwise rather dry discussion. It kind of re-defines "Death by Powerpoint." And did I mention that I'm the king of understatement?
